Preserving Musical Heritage
Celebrating the Sounds of Tradition

Promoting Traditional Genres
The Matheson Music Foundation is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional acoustic music genres such as Americana, Bluegrass, and Folk. We believe in the power of music to bring communities together and create lasting memories. Through our initiatives, we aim to foster a deep appreciation for the rich history and cultural significance of these musical styles.
Empowering the Next Generation
We offer free workshops and learning experiences for kids and music enthusiasts, ensuring that the knowledge and skills associated with traditional music are passed down through generations. Our programs focus on hands-on learning, enabling participants to engage directly with experienced musicians. This approach not only enhances musical skills but also builds confidence and fosters creativity among young learners.
Building Community Connections
At the heart of our mission is the desire to strengthen community bonds through music. By organizing events like the Matheson Music Festival, we create a welcoming space for musicians and music lovers to connect, collaborate, and share their passion. Our foundation serves as a hub for cultural exchange, bringing together diverse voices and fostering a vibrant musical community. Our Dedicated Team
